Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
A Magical Mystery Tour for Your Tastebuds. I love the pomegranate-glazed pork belly taco, and the Pescado Frito taco made with cod. Their additions in the tacos are awesome. Quite a fulfilling meal. I got their special #2 of two tacos and one side with a jarritos drink. And a spiced plantains side. So delicious. Fresh interior, clean, great service, indoor outdoor seating. Music at a level you can still hear each other. You can order from the kiosk or the cashier.
Highly recommend!! I was a fan of their spot at smorgasburg so I had to come here! I tried the lomo saltado burrito and it was REALLY GOOD. My boyfriend is a huge fan of mushrooms so he got the mushroom quesadillas and he loved them as well. The food here is full of flavor, and you can taste every ingredient your item has. When I eat here, I completely feel like I’m in the movie Ratatouille and the flavors feel like colors exploding around me. I wish I was exaggerating.
My first eating here. The food was delicious. The size of their tacos... very generous.. i had two Asada taco with the grilled elote for my side and orange soda. The service was great! I wasnt that busy when we ate there. The place was really nice and clean. Great recommend this place.
I really enjoyed Little Llama Peruvian Tacos. The tacos are a little on the pricey side ($5 per taco) but they’re delicious. I ordered the taco combo where you get 2 tacos, a side and a drink for $17. For my tacos I ordered the loma saltado and the pomegranate glazed pork belly. The loma saltado was so good. The beef was nicely marinated and tender. It was served over Yukon gold potatoes on top of corn tortilla. The taco was on the smaller side but the potatoes and the nice serving of meat made it pretty hearty. The other taco, the pomegranate pork belly had an interesting flavor. It was well executed and the flavors were good but it was definitely a little different. As for my side, I got the elotes which I enjoyed. I do wish that they served some type of seafood taco but their ceviche tostadas looked pretty damn good.
I thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I tasted both the lomo soltado and chicken burrito. The lomo soltado was nicely seasoned and cooked, I really like that it was cut into smaller pieces, making it easier to chew through. I have yet to try the chicken (will be my lunch tomorrow) and will update this review when I do. The cilantro rice was very tasty and highly recommend to pair with any of their main dishes. Loved their homemade salsas, in particular their cilantro sauce was amazing! They seem to only have one spicy salsa which maybe had a tad bit too much vinegar for my taste, but it was still tasty and spicy. Not sure if vinegar was the actual ingredient used, but it did give the sauce a bit of tanginess that I'm not a huge fan of, but that's just my taste preference. The inside of the restaurant was kept very clean and the food was served quite promptly, but there weren't many people there when I arrived. There is also plenty of seating as well as outdoor seating. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, ingredients and taste. I'm not sure if the restaurant offers gender inclusive restrooms, but if they do, that would be wonderful. I did find one piece of rice that was a bit hard because it was overcooked, but it was not a deal breaker nor will it deter me from coming back. Definitely will return and try others dishes.
