Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
Absolutely loved this place. I was visiting Santa Monica for a two days and came here both days. We first stumbled into it looking for lunch, and Juan at the counter helped us out. Juan has such a great vibe. He recommend the shrimp, so I got a shrimp taco and a fish taco. WHEN I TELL YOU this absolutely blew my mind. Easily the best taco I’ve ever had in my existence. I got it for takeout and actually had to come back later that evening just to tell them all how good the tacos were lol. They give you chips and salsa with every order which is such a nice touch - I feel like you don’t get that too often these days. Chips were great, one of the salsas was so spicy in the best way. I will come back here every time I visit LA!
Chips and salsa on the table were great. Rice could have been more steamy. This is a super location, my group walked from the pier. There is a lot of opportunities for this business.
Good food overall, very skimpy on the chicken on fajita bowls but tacos were a good portion
Just arrived in Santa Monica and wanted a quick lunch. My daughter and I got carne street tacos, beans and rice, a green corn tamal and cucumber juice. The food came out fast. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. Chips are salsa were good (not free—but worth it.) three types of salsa. All good. Corn tortillas were handmade and thick. Good flavor and texture. The cucumber Fresca was refreshing and delicious. Slightly sweet. I highly recommend this drink. The Tanaka was moist and slightly sweet. Very good. Went well with the medium salsa while I used the hot salsa for my taco. This place is great for a quick , reasonably priced somewhat healthy meal.
Authentic Mexican cuisine. Construction workers come and go with to-go orders. The place is quite small, 4-5 small tables. Orders are taken by the cashier, and then you sit down. Once seated you will be treated with a small tray of homemade totopos (chips) and sauce. The waiter will bring the plates for you. All dishes are served on paper plates or trays. They offer discounts on plates everyday, check the menu!!
