Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
The food here is so delicious and unique and best of all I feel good eating here. They have organic hand rolled pasta. Everything I had tasted delicious. Service here is incredible. Greeted by a friendly hostess and she did an incredible job explaining what’s in the food. The bread here is different. It’s very porous and light with a crunch to it. Comes with garnish you can eat. The lasagna had crispy layers of pasta so you can taste every layer you bite into. The pasta I had is bigger than the usual spaghetti pasta, plus it’s hollow inside! I enjoyed every bite of it. The corn soup is delicious with the infused flavors of onion, corn, oil, and edible flowers. There’s other stuff in it, but I can’t remember all the ingredients. I just remember enjoying my food experience there. Highly recommend this spot and I will definitely be coming back for more. I can tell the chef is not from LA just by his dishes.
This is hands down the best pasta we have had in Los Angeles. Having traveled Italy extensively and several times, we’ve always craved pasta dishes akin to the quality and distinct flavors you’d find in each town. Colapasta absolutely nails it with a tight menu of dishes that are each a win. The atmosphere is relaxed. The chef is right beside you making fresh pasta. The staff are friendly with great menu recommendations. The prices are affordable. This restaurant is a true gem for anyone craving a great meal. The Casunziei is a must try if you’re a first timer.
Super cute restaurant, lots of greenery which made the outdoor area refreshing & a very chic backdrop for photos. The service was great, our waiter was attentive and friendly. I ended up ordering the squid ink pasta which was good but not the best. Flavor-wise the pasta sauce just seemed bland but I do like spicy and/or more salty foods so that may have played a part in things.. the prices are also reasonable so I did enjoy things.
What a pleasant place to have lunch. The seating area was relaxing and comfortable. Of course, we came here for its pastas and weren’t disappointed. The serving size was smaller, so we ordered 4 different pastas. The lasagna was as advertised, it was excellent. All other three pastas were very good especially the agnolotti. We’ve never had it before and it was a very pleasant surprise. Highly recommended. The only downside of our lunch was that it had sold out its bread. Other than that, we enjoyed our experience here very much. And the service was excellent as well.
Fresh pasta joint. Nice variety. Wish portions were slightly larger. Ordered focaccia as a special, felt a bit cold/stale. Budget friendly wine list.
