Is this your business?
Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
We heard great things about Benny’s tacos and we wanted to give it a shot. My partner and I travel the world to try tacos, and boy were we floored. We ordered just a snack because we were on our way to grab food at another spot. So, we ordered 4 fish tacos and the barbacoa. The wait was a little long. But we were patient. The staff were super nice and working hard. Everyone on deck had a job to do to keep the business running smoothly. My boyfriend almost always gives any barbacoa taco a 7/10 rating. However, he said this barbacoa taco was the best he ever had. 10/10 hands down. The flavour the sauce the meat, everything was on point and he can’t wait to go back. I loved the fish tacos! They were jam packed with crunchy fish, a mountain of toppings. It’s not a taco that you want to look cute eating on a first date. This is a taco that you devour and not care what’s all over your face because it’s exploding with flavour and you’re lovin’ it. I gave 1 less star on the atmosphere only because it was pretty chilly outside and we wished the heaters were on to enjoy our tacos a little longer. (I’ll be back to take better photos of the the tacos I promise) Update: came back for another round, and they were just as good as the first time :)
Small space and limited seating. The Cali burrito was delicious and packed with protein (I got shrimp). Takeout orders seem to be faster than dine-in ones.
Visiting from out of town and walked by Benny’s. I was sold on the fresh tortillas. I walked in and asked the most popular burrito. They chose the most expensive. A clear sign of no real customer service. Long wait and when it was done they put it in the pick up cart instead of asking me if it was mine. I got to my hotel and opened it up. It was completely falling apart and the meat was al pastor instead of carnitas. Lastly, it did not taste good at all. Totally disappointing.
Been here many times and enjoy their food but last 3 times food has been subpar. There is always some ingredient missing, how do you forget red sauce on the enchiladas. The most disappointing is when the chicken fajitas is not grilled but definitely sauteed in a pan. Also asked for the light to be turned on in the patio and was told it's on a timer. Had to eat dinner in total darkness. Very wierd.
Great value. The Nachos are for most people 2 meals in 1. Flavors are above average, service is great. Small covered patio for dinning and a few tables on the sidewalk as well
