Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
Food is so mid - I’m guessing people are mostly coming here for the drinks, which were good! But I was excited to try the apricot special menu they have right now and the chicken was so dry and bland, and just came an apricot covered in liquid sugar on the side? And the cornbread was so incredibly dry and not flavorful. Now the apricot drink was 10/10 so, again, perfect if you just want a place to drink. My bf got an old fashioned and it was also great, but his food was also disappointing - the Strozzapreti. He said it tasted a little too sweet or like the flavor was unbalanced, and also just needed more flavor.
I came here for dinner with colleagues. The service was great with a nice atmosphere 👍 However, the food was just so-so. I would give it another try in the future though.
I loved the food! The squash blossom pizza was rich but delicious. The matcha margarita was a bit tart but I loved the Akasha cocktail and the rum cocktail (tiki something). Turkey burger and onion rings were incredible, as were the turkey meatballs with spaghetti. We were a bit full so we ordered a cookie each for dessert to have something smaller, and the chocolate chip tahini (something like that) cookies were wayyy better than expected! We paired it with vanilla ice cream and it was amazing. Do not skip dessert even if you just get a cookie. Prompt service from the support staff (bussers refilling water constantly and runners bringing the food as soon as it came up in the window), and Elaina provided polite yet genuine service that was perfect for the occasion, complete with helpful and informed recommendations and a complete reset between courses. My only complaints are the generic quality of the wood paneling, which does little to differentiate this restaurant from the many other similar designs, (the light fixtures were memorable and unique, though) and the confusion regarding where the entrance is. The door you come to first when parking in the parking garage is NOT the correct entrance and there is no sign indicating that. We stood awkwardly in the door way for a couple minutes before a manager said we were making him nervous just standing there, and asked if he could help with something. "Welcome, the host stand is right this way" would have been a more hospitable greeting, and signage would be helpful. Overall LOVED the experience though!!
Amazing happy hour. The gochujang roasted brussel sprouts are a must. If the peach salad is in season, you have to get it. Very good gluten-free options, as well.
We’ve eaten two brunches and a dinner here. All three meals were excellent. One person in our group is gluten free and appreciates the clearly marked menu and wide range of options. Almost every item is either gluten free or can be. All of our dishes were delicious, each was a great combination of fresh ingredients and delicious flavor. Give this place a try- you won’t be disappointed!
