We had Masala Dosa and Chicken Tikka Tacos at Tulsi, and the food was delightful, especially the Masala Dosa. It’s not easy to find a well-made dosa, but this one was spot on. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for quality Indian food in downtown LA.
I visited LA for 6 days. On the first day when i was finding restaurant, I finally got this one on Google Map and i was happy because it is only Vegetarian restaurant and offers all India food. When i visited it, it was awesome. The food was scrumptious 😋. I visited this only Indian restaurant in my trip to LA for four times.
Striaght out of India - Excellent dosa and authentic Indian "Street Food" in a lively and modern setting. Prices are very reasonable and the food is fresh and spiced incredibly well. A must visit in DTLA.
Had good foood! The spice level is not like indian spice level but thats understood. We are in LA!!! Manchurians were good! Crispy good! Combo are good deals worth it! Bhel was also nice! The bowl in which the bhel was served gave the same look as you get in bombay!
Lots of tables were left uncleaned with smelling dishes. Eggplant curry had more oil floating than any curry. Pan lassi was also bad. The portion size in thali was very less. No waiter all self service. Overall worst Indian restaurant I have been to.
