Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
Not your traditional Indian food restaurant but I really wanted to try the poutine and that was very good and filling. My standout dish was the fried fish appetizer that had delicious flavor. Butter chicken with naan was the most traditional and tasty. This is a good modern fusion restaurant. A little dark and loud but that's the vibe they want, I went with my dad who wanted a little bit more traditional fare but he still thought the food was good. Pricing was fair for the area but definitely a little bit of a splurge. Went on a weeknight without a reservation and was able to get a seat, No problem. I could see they're being a wait on busier days.
I’m not really sure what the hype is about this place. There’s no effort in the ambiance inside at all, it’s super dark and there’s this projector showing some old Indian movie to a crowd of a bunch of people not even interested in watching it, and the food is not great at all. We ordered the butter chicken samosas, the chicken tikka poutine, the mussels curry and the ghost lamb curry and there isn’t a single dish I would recommend. As the chicken poutine would get cold, the gravy would turn gooey, the mussels curry tasted nothing Indian and there’s no effort put into the lamb curry at all. And the worse part was the chai. This place is overly priced and the service wasn’t even great as well. As someone who eats a lot of Indian food, especially at home, I’ll never return here again. (I’ve uploaded pictures of the food with my review but don’t let the looks deceive you).
This was our first visit here. Shame we don’t live closer as it would definitely be a weekly staple. All the food was delicious. Some were not very traditionally Indian, but the twist on them didn’t stop the flavours. It was very busy during the lunchtime we were there. The server was on his own but worked very hard to accommodate everyone.
We went there yesterday to try Indian food for the first time and we loved it . The atmosphere was pretty cool , nice and clean. Our waitress Chris was so friendly, attentive and definitely helpful, he well explained the menu and gave us great recommendations for us to try out. So , we ended up ordering the GHOST CHILI LAMB VINDALOO and he had GOAN PORK CURRY, mine was pretty spicy, his was between spicy and sweet but it was pretty good. We both liked it and we will definitely come back to try a different dish . We highly recommend this place!
Delicious Indian food and the quality was so fantastic. Taste authentic and spices were balanced. The place was cool and not so traditional other Indian restaurant I've tried. The food portion was absolutely good. Nice staff!
